Fishing in Conroe Texas

My husband and I have lived her about seven years now.  We use to only salt water fish at Galveston, but since my spine surgery, I can't make the drive anymore.  So we would like to find some fishing spots near us.

 Does anyone know or recommend some nice spots, the docks, cost and so forth on Conroe Lake?  We will be going out this Thursday if the weather is good, but not sure yet where to go, will do online searches. 

My new adopted grandson will be joining us for the first time.  He is six and very excited about going boat riding.  Thanks everyone…Rose/Jude
